We place these items on a table outside the office.  The exception being jewelry and electronics.  Those items must inquired about in the office.  If you see something that is yours, please take it.

5/5 - Anatomy class dismiss at 10:15am for their field trip to USD.

5/9 - Dismiss the JH Track team @ 12:45pm for their meet in Parkston.

5/10 - Dismiss the Varsity track team @ 10:30am for their meet in Gregory.

VOLLEYBALL MEETING - GRADES 6-11 - There will be a Volleyball meeting held on Thursday, 5/12, during advisory in Mrs. Bures' room.  Make sure you check in to your advisory first.

SENIORS & GRADUATION PHOTOS - Graduation photos/collages will be offered for the Class of 2022.  The photo collage will be a framed 8x10 photo which includes a class photo, individual photo and a photo of your child receiving their diploma.  The cost for each photo collage is $12.  If you would like a 5x7 photo of any of the photos taken, those can be purchased for $3 each.  Please make checks payable to Lisa Sestak.  If you would like to order any photos, please fill out the bottom portion, include payment and return to the office.  Questions?  Contact Lisa.Sestak@k12.sd.us  or call her at 605-661-7165.

WE'RE ENTERING THE LAST DAYS OF HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE SENIORS!  Their actual last day of classes will be Tuesday, May 10th.  They must come back on Wednesday, May 11th for Senior check-out and Graduation rehearsal.  

SENIOR GRADES MUST BE POSTED BY NOON ON TUESDAY, 5/10.

Tuesday, 5/10 - Seniors can pick up their check-out forms in the office

Wednesday, 5/11 -

*Computer check in from 9-10am in Mr. Aarstad's office.

* Graduation rehearsal from 10:30am - ?? - After rehearsal, you will be free to go unless you have homework/projects due to a teacher.

* If you have an Attendance Appeal pending, know that you will not receive a signed diploma at Graduation.  However  you will receive the same diploma cover as everyone else, so no one will be the wiser.

* If you need a FINAL TRANSCRIPT sent to a college, please notify Connie.  I'm not clairvoyant.

*All checkout forms must be turned in to the office before graduation on Saturday, 5/14.

THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR IS QUICKLY APPROACHING.  Our last day of school is May 18th.  Here's a few things you need to know - 

*All students need to know that it would be a good idea to bring money with to school on those final days.  As you go through the check-out process, you may need to pay for any fines that you may have incurred during the school year and to pay for any lunch account balances due.

* High School check-out forms will be in the office starting on Monday, 5/16.

*Middle School check-out forms will be in the office starting on Tuesday, 5/17.

* All high school computer will be checked in on 5/18 in Mrs. Sestak's room. 

     Juniors - 10:00am

     Sophomores - 10:30am

     Freshmen - 11:00am

Middle school computers just need to be in their designated carts.

* There are no set times for locker check-out.  Students will have to ask teachers/staff to go to their lockers with them and the teacher will sign off on the locker form.  TEACHERS:  As time allows, take your classes down as groups on Tuesday or Wednesday to get this done.

* All lunch accounts must be paid in full by the end of the school year.  If your account has a positive balance, it will roll over to the 22-23 school year.

* All students must turn in their completed check-out forms to the office before leaving for summer break.

* All HS students must have the Parent Permission forms signed and turned back in to the office if they want "Open Campus Privileges" during Semester Tests.  Those forms will be available for pick up in the office sometime the week of May 9-12.  They must be returned no later than Monday, 5/16, at 4:00pm.

* Semester Tests are May 17 & 18.  Our last day of school is May 18th - Dismissal time is 1:30pm.

8th GRADE GRADUATION will take place on May 18th, 7pm, in the Main Gym.  

All 8th graders need to arrive at the gym by 6:30pm for a group picture.

SPRING BLOOD DRIVE - The BHHS Student Council will once again be sponsoring a Spring Blood Drive to take place in the Main Gym on Thursday, May 5th from 1:30-5:30pm - Appointments are required - You can schedule yours by texting LIFESERVE to 999-777, Call 800-287-4903 or contact any Student Council Member - Visit lifeservebloodcenter.org

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPRING DANCE - Thursday, 5/5 from 7-10pm - Admission will be $2 - No shoes allowed in the gym, you must wear socks - Snacks and beverages will be sold.

ANY CURRENT 10TH OR 11TH GRADER who may be considering a Dual Credit class next fall, should stop in and visit with Mrs. Stewart about that ASAP.  If you meet the criteria, you will need to get enrolled this spring yet.

STUDENTS CURRENTLY TAKING DUAL CREDIT COURSES:  Once your class is completed and receive your final grade from the college, print out a copy of that final grade info and bring it to Connie.  The colleges do not send any info to us.

The final report should contain the following info:  Your name, the name of the college, the course name, the course number, number of credits earned, and final grade.
