2126.5 - Evaluation of Business Manager

The purpose of the evaluation of the Business Manager is to:

·         Assist the Business Manager in the performance of duties

·         Provide a basis for determining employment status and salary

·         Provide feedback on successful aspects of job performance

·         Provide feedback to the Business Manager on areas of the job that need improvement.

The Business Manager will be evaluated by the Superintendent. A Business Manager in the first two years of employment will be evaluated once each semester and Business Managers beyond the first two years of employment will be evaluated once each year. Evaluations will be reduced to writing and copies of the evaluation will be presented to the Business Manager at a conference. The evaluation will be signed by the Superintendent and Business Manager. The Business Manager's signature will indicate that a conference was held and a copy of the evaluation was given to the Business Manager. The signature does not indicate agreement. The final evaluation in each year will result in an employment recommendation. Recommendations may be "recommended for continued employment", "recommended for continued employment with qualifications", "not recommended for employment".
